Product: Eternalite replacement bulb for nightlights (size C7, a standard night light bulb)
Manufacturer: Feit Electric
Retailer: I bought mine through a catalog (though I don’t remember which); it can be purchased through Amazon
Price: roughly $8 – $10 for 2 bulbs
Description: A two-pack of a 3-led bulb that serves as a replacement to a standard C7 bulb.
The bottom line: A decent amount of light, but the cool blue color temperature and the directional nature of LEDs (and the design of this bulb) make it less effective than the bulb it replaces. But it works well enough.

Section9LED is promoting its new GreenLux line of LED light bulbs that appear to be designed to replace standard light bulbs. It’s too bad they’re not making a better case for their high cost and making it so hard to try them out.
